First try at a Necro/Warrior build <_<
Okay, first, I must say that you guys are going to have to help the newb here ~_^.
Anyway, here is what I have at the moment:
Attribute Calculator Character Dump
Class: Necromancer / Warrior
Assumed items:
+1 to Soul Reaping
+2 to Blood Magic
Attributes: (cost)
Soul Reaping: 3+1 (6)
Blood Magic: 12+2 (97)
Axe Mastery: 12 (97)
Total attribute points used: 200/200
Skills:
1) Cyclone Axe - (5,0,4) Perform a spinning axe attack striking for +6 damage to all adjacent opponents.
2) Axe Twist - (8a,0,0) If this attack hits a foe suffering from a deep wound, you strike for 16 more damage and that foe suffers from weakness.
3) Swift Chop - (5,0,4) If this attack hits you strike for +16 damage. If Swift Chop is blocked, your target suffers a deep wound and takes an additional 16 damage. Swift Chop cannot be evaded.
4) Sprint - (5,0,20) For 8 seconds, you move 25% faster.
5) Life Siphon - (10,2,2) For 24 seconds, target suffers health degeneration of 3 and you gain health regeneration of 3.
6) Unholy Feast - (15,1,30) Steal 38 health from each nearby foe.
7) Plague Touch - (5,3/4,0) Transfer a negative condition from yourself to target touched foe.
8) Life Transfer (elite) - (10,2,30) For 12 seconds, target foe suffers health degeneration of 8 which you gain as health regeneration. This is an elite skill.
My plan would be to attack with Swift Chop, thus giving my enemy a deep wound. Follow with Axe twist for extra damage. Cyclone axe woudl be there to cause extra damage and to charge my adrenaline. Sprint would help me close in.
Finally, I would keep myself alive with LIfe Sifon and Uhonly Feast. If I really needed some health fast I would switch to Life Transfer, and pray I have the energy for it.
Finally, Plague Touch is just there as an added bonus to get rid of those blasted bleeding the Warriors always try giving to ya'!
Please commit, critisize, mutilate, murder, etc., do whatever you want to make the build better ~_^.

One thing I would say is that your build is a touch energy-heavy. You have four 5energy spells, two 10energy spells and one 15energy spell... seven energy skills on a warrior-type build is alot, really I'd say that having only one adrenaline skill will hold back your potential as a warrior, which you've got pretty much half of your attributes tied up in.
Another note is that Swift Chop only causes deep wounds when blocked, I've not used it alot so I can't really say how reliable this is, but the only time I've really seen attacks blocked is when the enemy is using a defensive stance, you may want a more reliable deep wound skill.

Keep in mind that everything that we're working with is in beta stage, its a completely fluid situation, so you've got to be ready to roll with what comes, most of the info I get is coming from gwonline.com, and I'm not even 100% sure its the most updated stuff, never really will be, no matter what the source.
Unfortunately you've got pretty limited options as to inflicting deep wounds, I personally like Eviscerate, as it will give you +dmg as well as inflicting the wound you need, not as much possible dmg as Swift chop, but its more reliable. Your other option is Dismember... Same adrenal cost as Eviscerate, but no dmg, and not elite.
Also was curious, do you want this build for PvE or PvP?

I'm sorry I dont really understand the skills yet since I have not experienced the game, is a necro/war a hard starting class? I dont mind if its hard...but if its impossible...anyways let me know. I wouldnt mind seeing a picture of the skill tree and so forth, either than the ones on the main website are there anymore? Thanks in advance.

no its not that very hard of the class, i run a simialr build only i go with warrior/necro blood and sword. one thing that u may not have known is the hgihest health degen u can give someone is -10. using your basic life siphon/trasnfer prob ull be giving -11. which will only turn out to be -10 because of the limit. so its not really that much differnece there with 12 or 14 except one more second of trasnfer, = 20 damage. so you may have dealt 20 more damge but i think that can be put soemwhere else, say tactics or curses.

Swift Chop is horrible, not alot of people block anyways besides a SoD enchanted target. Which should be knocked out by your fellow team member anyways. Or am I wrong?

cyclone axe is a great skill to use.
it really comes in handy when you have a few foes around you.
put this skill once for some good adn gains.
its the non elite brother of hundred blades.

Thanks all for your helpful comments ~_^.
Okay, I redid the build, comment on this one:
Attribute Calculator Character Dump
Class: Necromancer / Warrior
Assumed items:
+1 to Soul Reaping
+2 to Blood Magic
Attributes: (cost)
Soul Reaping: 3+1 (6)
Blood Magic: 12+2 (97)
Axe Mastery: 12 (97)
Total attribute points used: 200/200
Skills:
1) Cyclone Axe - (5,0,4) Perform a spinning axe attack striking for +6 damage to all adjacent opponents.
2) Eviscerate (elite) - (7a,0,0) If Eviscerate hits, you strike for +24 damage and inflict a deep wound, lowering your target's maximum health by 20% for 17 seconds. This is an elite skill.
3) Axe Twist - (8a,0,0) If this attack hits a foe suffering from a deep wound, you strike for 16 more damage and that foe suffers from weakness.
4) Executioner's Strike - (8a,0,0) If this attack hits, you strike for +34 damage.
5) Blood Renewal - (5,1,10) Sacrifice 33% max health. For 10 seconds, you gain health regeneration of 3. When Blood Renewal ends, you gain 151 health.
6) Life Siphon - (10,2,2) For 24 seconds, target suffers health degeneration of 3 and you gain health regeneration of 3.
7) Vampiric Touch - (15,3/4,5) Touch target foe to steal up to 70 health.
8) Plague Touch - (5,3/4,0) Transfer a negative condition from yourself to target touched foe.
Now, this has more enphasis on 1v1 damage. This would be a PvE AND PvP build. However, it is mostly for PvP.
I would use Blood Renewal right before I go into a big Melle combat. It only costs five energy, so it could keep me alive in combat. Follow that with a Life Siphon and I would have +6 pips of energy (which would bring back my sacrificed 33% health) and then get the 151 Health boost. Also, I would use Vampiric touch to deal damage and get health for myself.
For adrenaline racharge I use Cyclone axe. Then, I will follow with Eviscerate and Axe twist for a deep wound and weekness. Finally, I would use Executioners strike for some extra damage.
This has about 1/2 warrior skills and 1/2 health renewal skills.
Please comment =).

I was reading somewhere that blood renewal is kind of broken at the moment.. If you figure a base of 480hp, 33% of that is 158hp, you gain 3pips of hitpoint regen for 10 seconds, then gain 151 health so..
-158 + 60 + 151 = 53
Your only actually gaining 53 hp overall and because it only lasts for 10 seconds it doesn't really give any tricking advantage (like illusion of weakness does for mesmers) I know a few people who really like spells like demonic flesh, you might consider that.. but if you want the hitpoint gain, maybe vampiric gaze (note that v.touch only gains a max of 10 more hp than v.gaze and costs 5 more energy.. the only other bonus is that it has 1/4 faster activation.. not much of a bonus, especially since you've gotta be in touch-range to use it.)

Nec/War
Blood 10(+2), Sword 12, Death 8(+1)
Well of Blood
Aura of the Lich (Elite)
Life Siphon
Sever Artery
Gash
Sprint
Vile Touch/Final Thrust
Demonic Flesh
Something like that would give you superpowered health regen.

Thanks y'all!
Your help has been most... helpful ~_^.
Anyway, I think I will stick with my normal attributes and just experiment in-game with all types of skills, to see which ones work for me!
